Security is out, looking to investigate in the lower level of the nonsensical building that connects to the upper tunnels. In the distance, noises of some terrible known unknown sound louder and louder, as if approaching. The night sky is clear, and a pale moon lights the sand, concrete and glass with an unearthly shade.
Tawking pointsprey_upwards is a new kind of prey map, designed to push the limits of the underlying plugins by introducing dynamic systems (elevators, filters, basic gameplay flows). The idea is to try more `upbeat` gameplay by mixing the base building aspects with some streamlined objective, optional in the case of this map, and see how that turns out.
The players spawn together in a relatively small area and have to barricade themselves up in a narrow selection of holds. Props are scarce and each hold progresses into other holding areas, each of which have more potential entrances if players stay put. Several parts of the overall map are designed to be reached only by special alien classes, and as such should provide a wider range of strategic possibilities.
