!!!Important for NA Users, please read!!!PSO2 NA users must be using Tweaker or the Steam relase of PSO2! They should also ctrl+click Launch in Reloaded Mod Loader and hit Auto-Attach prior to launching the game!

Sega does not actively watch this game for this type of thing, but posting screenshots or videos of modded content with your character or name visible online publicly can be potentially problematic. You have been warned.
*The limitless and safe with obstructions variations of this mod can result in model glitches that may cause epileptic episodes. As stock files are used, this can't be fixed*
Requires the PSO2 Generic File Redirect mod or to place the "fixed checksum" file into win32_na/win32. Note that placing it into win32 without a launcher such as Tweaker or a .bat boot will trigger a file check.
This is a mod that randomizes the game's skyboxes whenever you load into a new area. While code goes on in the background, the only thing it affects ingame is what file will load. In practice, it does less than the well known PSO2 Tweaker does to the game. In addition, by going to Reloaded's Input tab, selecting a device, and assigning keys to A and B (these will not be treated as A or B by the game itself), you can disable the mod with the assigned key for B or reenable it with A. You will need to reload the area to see changes, however.
There are 3 versions to pick from, all set in the skyboxSettings.txt file with values 0, 1, and 2 with 2 being the most restrictive for safety from model clipping. The safe version without obstructive skyboxes, the safe version with obstructive skyboxes, and the version with everything. The safe versions also have repeated/uninteresting skyboxes omitted. The main reason I say "safe" is because weather visuals are disabled with skybox mods, although PSE's and most other things still activate. However, certain things like the Forest river water may be tied to the skybox visuals can physically affect your character. It's likely nothing will happen from using the limitless version of this mod, but you should bear it in mind.
Also available is a download for a set of custom skyboxes which can be added to your shuffle and a .bat file that adds an environmental variable which Reloaded Mod Loader uses to run (This .bat file won't work for PSO2 NA). The .bat file will not negatively affect your system and simply makes the exploit needed to make the other launcherless PSO2 boot work permanent so Reloaded can boot it (PSO2 NA cannot be booted in this manner through reloaded, ctrl+click Launch and use Auto Attach before launching for that version).
Of note is that this mod can be customized in the following ways:
skyboxlist.txt - contains the list of skybox files that will be swapped onto
skyboxlist_t6.txt - contains the list of tier 6 files that will be swapped onto
skyboxNoImpact.txt (skybox type 2), skyboxObfuscation.txt (skybox type 1, recommended), skyboxLimitless.txt (skybox type 0)- contain the list of original game files that can be swapped onto skyboxlist.txt's files
skyboxSettings.txt - contains a setting to link or not link t6 lighting files to their respective skyboxes. Also contains a setting for choosing which of the aforementioned skybox set types you want to use.
Files in the Skyboxes folder will be added to the list of usable skyboxes at runtime that can be swapped onto skyboxlist.txt files.
Unforutunately clothes, accessories, and the like use a different system and cannot be swapped this way. HOWEVER, weapons and skyboxes can be swapped over their same type. It's possible other items may be swappable although you may test that at your own risk. Of note is that you can replace all of a set of items with one or replace only one item with something from a set of many. Ie. Make all rods appear as Psycho Wand or make all only the campship a randomized skybox. You can also put multiple of certain filenames to make them more likely to show up. A fanmade file list can be found here.
