  • Removal removed the radio tower that was in ct spawn
  • Tweak the caregetop texture was not fited properly
  • Tweak some building have slight moved textures
  • Addition new rooftop texture for the storage and cover for T nside

here it is "Coldstorage" read the description below;

Terrorist Defend the Hosteges to get some money for them
Counter Terrrorist Rescue the hotages and eliminate any treath
note: there a 4 hostages in the misison

the map started as a hevy modified version of "cs_assault" it was fun project and I hope you like it

    Ok, i tested your map and I must tell you following things:

    On meat factory you could make some of them or all breakable in flesh

    The yellow and black band (I don't know how it's named) is very high

    and lastly you could add some banners and entrance of meat factory you can put a sign (ex. Papa's meat, italian meat since 1890) that should be a .wad

    And i forget, try fix that corner window textures

    How about that empty part in the 1st image behind the cargos ? You could add some rocks/some models around there.

    By first view, I think that "italy" roofs don't fit with map (have reference to de_train)

    Let's go:

    Before I must tell you change the name of map to "cs_coldstorage" because currently is named as "cs_meat16" and I had problems to find it in my cs.


    Don't make this with window textures, looks very weird.



    Make skybox be more in background (I don't know how explain it better, sorry)



    On places be roof use "graveyard" textures and add sometimes "electric boxes"



    For this kind of things use vertex tool



    Try don't map very long corridors.
    Is empty office, add some tables, office stuff...



    Floating dump, pay attention to this details in vhe



    I don't know why, but looks little unnecessary that decals, btw the half blue wall texture don't match with full white walls



    The windows textures haven't same distance respect to side and top building



    I know alive players ingame will not see it, but spectators/dead players ingame yes, if you fit them will add professionalism to your map



    Is a storage, add crates/heavy machines



    You must pay attetion too to the max. viewable distance (4092 by default if I remember)



    And don't corner window textures how I told previously, and that mix wall... remember to spectators/dead players ingame

    I hope you learn from this mistakes ( I know you are beginner)
