    This is a very good re-design of this level! I pretty much have no problems with it though I'd personally suggest you remove a few problematic badniks that disrupt the flow of the level.

    Now this might be because I played through this with my improvement mod (which makes Sonic able go to speeds higher than he normally can) but I feel a few of the badniks are placed in some cheap areas when you're running. An example of this would be how you give the player speed shoes at the beginning of the level (which would encourage them to run without spindashing) only to lead directly into an enemy down the slope.

    I think the placement for most badniks is perfectly fine and a welcomed change but I think you should refrain from putting them at the bottom of slopes and such. This isn't a huge problem and the stage is still pretty good but I think this is one of those things you should iron out a bit more.
