Gameplay wise it played fine, no major problems with the map, maybe it's a bit too long, but it works just well.
some places the map feels a bit empty. For example, next to that stone
structure in the middle, where you only have those big stone cubes as a
cover. I would recommend to make some changes to that whole middle area,
like do a bit of detailing on the cubes or make some statues to replace
Could be nice to have props, since the map feels empty, as
I said earlier. Also, you should make some displacements, because the
whole map is flat as a pencake. In addition to displacements, in my
opinion, you should make a 3D skybox for the level, that would make the
map a bit more fancy. For example, you could make a 3D skybox – a
scenery – which contains sand dunes and some stone structures outside
the playable area.
The visibility of player models are fine, but
could be better. Could be fixed with some additional detail on the
walls, such as a bit brighter texture or if you're going to make the 3D
skybox that I have suggested, maybe try to completely remove the walls
around the map.
Well, I think that covers everything. It reminds me to Serious Sam 3 a little bit and Quake 3 Arena.
PS: I think, a 1v1 arena map with the same texture pack, would be nice.
