So i look a bit at the map and here my comment for design:
skybox is good, it really makes me think about japan theme and it fits well with those pink trees. I'm sad that you didnt play a bit with light env to make map look a bit pinker/red to fit with the rest
here, care with lights and circle brush, you can have bug with shadows and lightning, you should play maybe with LightBlock tools and Smoothing groups in texture.
I'm a bit disapointed too by this
if you don't want to put shadows on ur models you can use blocklight tools to simulate it, it always look better and maybe put sometimes put lightmap less value to have a better render
there are some mistakes like here where the rotation of roof's texture is wrong
or here idk why separate rooms, it could be great the see the whole stage under, i think it look betteer but that's my opinion
and this, i know it's really hard to avoid those empty zone specially in open space map, somes would say that we don't care in surf maps but i think it can be improved by placing some blocks or more displacements.
I think you could add some music or maybe wind sounds to participate at the oriental ambient
I like brushes you created like the last house in main, it looks like you want to make good details and you have ideas to create nice looking details.
