    I love the concept of that long walk through a minefield of near-invisible infected water puddles among the sewage buildup --- assuming that's what that is, if not that would be a great element; Make some bumps and mounds similar to the sewer in Left 4 Dead's No Mercy, and line it with small water puddles about less than an inch deep. They'd be hard to see and a challenge to traverse. By that standpoint you might block off random sections of the walkways with rubble or debris to force a player into the hopscotch 

    I'd highly suggest taking the time to add some details to it.
    Take some composite_trash models and line the sewer walls with them randomly (be sure to mark them as nonsolid or you might have clipping issues with the zombies), add some wall stains and grime decals, maybe a few corpses
