A project inspired a few years ago by the game Skyrim. I wanted to bring some of the world of Skyrim into Half-Life, hence the name Skylife.
The map itself doesn't really provide any gameplay features as in fact, was never meant as a playable map but more like a tech demo. I wanted to see how much you could expand the world in the Source engine and make it look vast and full of trees.
I'm including the development files should anyone want to transform this into something actually playable. If you do so, keep in mind that the textures have been scaled in their respective material files appropriately. Blending 2 textures while having different normal maps for both is kinda problematic in this version of the engine so keep that in mind should you decide to change some things.
