Night version of this map looks better in my opinion and is easier on the eyes so that's why I decided to change it to that. Remember that I am still a begginer at making maps, so I do what's within my power.
4 months before,I downloaded this map,When I had Hl2DM,It was a Nice Map,I had botrix and spawned some bots too,For me is a good map for testing something. And on the time I had Hamachi,I could invite my players for a PVP On this Map,Good Times.
As I said in the Tron2000 post reply, the skybox is bugged. I see the "sky cube", the white sky base is visible laterally and no sky texture continuity. The map offers nice layout and good playability. Visually, in my opinion, is a bit too bright, even in ldr. The texturing is original but a little "heavy", maybe a not squared floor would look better. Too many different brick walls, and the texture alignment should be more accurate. The stairways, expecially the longest ones, need clip planes to increase the flow. The soundscapes are also a bit intrusive. The constant buzz is disturbing, and the ambient sounds appear here and there without a logical connection to the area where you are. Perhaps a simple ambient_generic playing a wind loop would be more enjoyable and discreet. You should add an env_sun to justify the heavy shadows, and a shadow_control entity to get right shadow of physic objects. The map is not cubemapped. A good map but, IMAO, it needs some more work. Keep it up, cheers.
EDIT: I've tried the skybox you used in a test map and it looks bugged aswell. Replacing the skybox no problem. Probably there's a bug in that hdr texture.
