A Map for Counter-Strike: Source

Hi, this is the 4th map in my "bhop_insertcolorglow" series, in this one i focused more on making the map longer as well as adding some fairly difficult shortcuts for more advanced players, this involves multiple 64 unit shortcuts, some shortcuts along the walls like in previous maps for both advanced and mid level players.

The map is like always possible on scroll as well as auto, as for other styles i dont really care too much about, for example low gravity. (rly silly imo) So for low grav or "unreal" you might hit some player clips above you, but the map is intended for auto/scroll so if you decide to play low gravity or something similar then you will just have to deal with that.

The map should be around 50-60 seconds if all shortcuts are used, however i dont have any proof of this cuz i havent seen anyone actually complete it all in one go during play testing which people did during previous maps, so hopefully this one will be a bit more challenging, and if its too difficult or too simple, please let me know in the comments below.

    It's not a bad map, and the aesthetic is alright, but I feel as though it's the same with a lot of people including myself, you could really push the aesthetic of the map further instead of sticking to established ideas and themes.

    Growing and learning as a mapper is important, but part of that growing and learning definitely comes in trying to have fun mapping in my experience, but I feel as though you could really push these designs and layouts to something impressive by applying time.

    While I myself love embarking on short projects for my own fun or entertainment, a recent project is taking its time to come to fruition, and I'd definitely like to see something with a lot of love come out of you.

    I like to see people experiment with styles they wouldn't normally try, so anything you put out next, any attempts to differentiate and go beyond your comfort zone would be nice.

    On the gameplay side, the map is pretty solid, not something revolutionary, but it's playable and nice to play, I don't see a reason people wouldn't play it. Adding proffessional skips for auto is a nice idea, helps shape routing and enjoyable outcomes on the map.

    Overall, you definitely have room for improvement, and it'd be nice to see you make something different.
