Dm_deadlands uses detail textures, so make sure you have "r_detailtextures" set to 1.

    Nice job on this! Only thing I don't care for is the use of the env_sound entities. You seemed to use them best for each section but they always seemed a bit buggy to me and I personally don't care for them. I will remove them from the copy on my computer. Think you did a nice enough job that I will add this to my servers mapcycle.
    I play on a pc that is really outdated and all I can say is pfft to the concerns about the poly count. Most maps made nowadays wouldn't run on 20 year old hardware. Keep 'em coming man! :)

    Wow, that looks really really nice !! I love that grey atmosphere... Textures, details and sky, everything seems to fit perfectly together.

    Maybe one thing : does it runs good ? I mean, I feel that WPolys and r_speeds must be pretty high, so the map might be buggy...

    Well, it's hard to believe it's your first HLDM map... Have you already made maps for other games ?
