Lyrical excursion

A valley! Nature's way of showing her magnificent greatness! From the evergreen fields on which calm cows relaxedly graze to the softly humming rivers that carry crystal clear water! What is not to love of these oases of tranquility, buried in the sincere chants of the hummingbirds!

I think you will agree that no other image projects stoic calmness as a valley gently bathed by the sun. But you and I, dear reader, both understand that hell often hides under the fa├žade of beauty. We know it is so, just as we understand that the red of the rose reminds of the blood the thorn can rob.

This is a simple, classic styled zombie escape map. There are about a dozen different paths from spawn, all open for exploration. This means that if your server is populated by human bots and driven by repetitive mechanics you will probably lose a good bit of what the map is meant to be. Boredom is the conscious choice you make, though, so I have no qualms with that.

After that you have a few holds. Some of the holds are hard. They are made harder by the traps in the path. These traps are just good old fun. They also imply more players becoming zombies, but that's second order thinking and we are not going to need it.

The map includes cannons you can control. Roughly, this translates to heaps of senseless trolling. Trigger-happy admins might not enjoy this, because it means additional effort on their part. I say they should be happy someone makes maps that doesn't make them obsolete, but that's just a contrarian view for the shake of it.

After a series of meaningless events, you get to a climb section. The climbs need not player skill, but a good chunk of players will die anyway. A helicopter comes later, and you can save yourself. Or not. I mean, deciding we all should fail is also an option. After all, we must pay disproportionate attention to the mediocre to reach consensus. In any case, one team wins, even though people believe it's all about one team winning or losing.

There are secrets. I am not sure if I can count them with my fingers, because I lost some of them in the war and it might not be valid to include prosthetics in the count.
