A small KOTH map set during early morning in it's alpha stage.
Coastal is a King of the Hill map, that I have been working on off and on for the last few weeks. It currently does not have proper texturing, but I intend for it to have either a medieval or alpine theme.
It consists of a basic Viaduct formula, a two entry spawn, small courtyard, with two buildings. The first building has two exits; one leading straight to the control point, and the other one leading straight to the battlements. The battlements have a trapdoor which leads into a full health pack. The second building simply leads onto the mid point. The mid has lots of cover, is raised and is only accessible via two ramps.
Hey, I looked around in your map and I see some problems, I'm not a map designer nor am I a pro gamer this is just my humble opinion. The cabinets are showing "ERROR" could be my problem could be the map's not quite sure. The map has a little too much open space it looks empty and not exciting. The control point is a little biased for soldiers, pyros, heavies and funnels everybody though a small choke point and is too difficult for scouts, spies, and snipers, speaking of snipers, there are no actual sniping spots maybe you can change the 2 walls blocking the control point way shorter that you can crouch-jump over it and make the place that drops you down to another room with a healthpack have a slit for a sniping spot. Just fix the map to be balanced for all classes and add some things into the very empty spaces maybe just add a car, pile of tires or a small shed so scouts can play around it.
