Version 6 (zs_turbine_v6)
  • Added new vent system on BLU side.
  • Buffed several areas on BLU side for Engineer use.
  • Added two new shipping containers for Medics to hide in.
  • Fire bells now ring when shot.
  • It is no longer possible to be boosted into BLU spawn or vents.
  • Added custom textures and other minor fixes.
  • Lowered height of RED vents.

TF2's Turbine changed to an Arena and/or Medic VS Engineer map.

Workshop upload here (less up to date).
Zombie Survival Turbine (filename zs_turbine_final), is an optimisation of the classic Capture the Flap map Turbine with the Medic vs. Engineer playstyle in mind.
Notable changes to the map include the prevention of access to the BLU spawn by the RED team, hollowed out crates, a ladder by RED spawn, an increase in RED team's vent size, skybox being changed from day to night, and other such redesigns. The major four hiding spots for engineers are:
  1. RED vents
  2. RED 'intel' and conference room
  3. RED recording room
  4. BLU hallways
You can play this map as it was meant to be played in the Zombie Survival gamemode on Rushy Servers. Note that I am only responsible for the restructuring and relighting of this map. Everything else belongs to Valve Corporation.

    maybe remove the vent area because zombies will never win on turbine?
    Zombies never win on normal Turbine.
    Removing the vents would be counter-productive, no-one would play the map without vents.

    The bigger vent is kind of a deal breaker for me. Other then that, it's fine.
    The vent was made bigger so Medics have room to perform a hostile takeover once they close the gap on the engineers, rather than being stuck with having to destroy every single building in their way.

    Not on Zombie Survival, even though the map is horribly broken. That is why I made this.

    even though it's the best map for weapon testing for me.

    Personally I prefer TF2 weapon demonstration map 

    I only use tr_karma if i'm testing weapons that are actually balanced.

    half of the time I just make strange weapons for the lols

    The last time I made an overpowered weapon just to mess around was a long time ago. I followed my friend's instructions on how to modify the sydney sleeper to affect the target hit and enemies nearby to suffer the plague debuff. Can't remember how to do that anymore.

    lmao, I made a "valve" original about last month.

    it wasn't really a valve weapon since it had 2 negatives (only fired 1 shot and fired 50% slower)
