    I have no -heapsize applaunch command on HL and the map loads well.

    I have 8GB of RAM and 2GB vRAM but I don't think your problem is this since HL doesn't even use them all.

    Since Goldsource engine comes from idtech engine, the error that HL is giving you is about (how Trempler says) memory usage, and on Quake 3 this can be fixed by using "com_hunkmegs", and if that doesn't work it might be related to OpenGL. You should try updating your video card drivers and see what happens. Or try to set your video card in maximum performance for HL in your video card's panel (Nvidia control panel or Catalyst Control Center, you can do that on both panels).

    No luck, even installed a fresh hl1 copy, but nyet.. I have nvidia gforce 820m with the latest drivers. Maybe my 32bit system, Win7, is responsible..

    I can tell you one thing mate, the map looks amazing in BSPview :D
