The final level of Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode, brought to Smash 4 as a stage! This stage is over Final Destination.

There are two versions of the stage. Each is in a separate download on the download page. Both versions include UI for the stage.



The Regular version IS NOT wifi-safe, preserving the collisions of the original stage from Brawl, as well as its camera and KO boundaries.

It also features the item spawn frequencies that the original boss battle with Tabuu had - this excludes many items from spawning on this stage, so this would usually not be preferred unless you want authenticity. If you want to remove this and use the standard item spawn frequencies of Final Destination, do not use the modified 'item_stage_gen_param.bin' file.



The Wifi-Safe version IS Wifi-Safe, and features a scaled down version of the main platform, as well as Final Destination's crystals to visually match Final Destination's collisions. If you're downloading this version, make sure to scroll down on the download page. The link at the top of the download page is the regular version.



The stage does still have some inconsistencies with the original Brawl appearance, however these are mostly minor, and I hope to fix them in future updates to this stage. See the devnotes of this submission for details.

The stage is functional in Classic mode, with only a few minor visual errors. Details are also in the devnotes.

    I always pack it manually then move it manually to SD card. I'm not exactly sure what is causing this difficulty, am I able to PM you my workspace or something so you could look at it ore in-depth or something? I'd really want this stage to work for me.

    Are you using Sm4shExplorer's sending to SD to copy your builds over? If so, maybe try copying the build manually (after clearing the previous one from there of course). No idea if that'll help but I guess it's worth a try.

Development Info

Notes
The stage is not 100% consistent with Brawl. These are the known inconsistencies:
  • Due to existing limitations in stage porting, the background's appearance differs from Brawl. As an example, the animation on the 'kaleidoscope' background is not the same as Brawl due to a current lack of feasible UV rotation in Smash 4.
  • The translucency of the stage may not be completely accurate to Brawl.
  • Smash Balls can still spawn when using the Brawl-accurate item spawn frequencies.

There are some issues present in Classic Mode:
  • The inital camera animation for the entrance of Master Hand and/or Crazy Hand shows the edges of the background models.
  • Occasionally, the background will partially flicker while fighting Master Core.
  • Some minor visual effects of Master Fortress are missing.



In early versions of this mod, a white flash would occur on the stage whenever a fighter suffered strong knockback. Some users would still like the white flash to be present, so here's a guide on re-enabling it:
  1. Get Smash Forge
  2. Open the 'stc_End_f_base_set' model.nud in Smash Forge
  3. Right-click on a Polygon and select 'Edit Materials'
  4. Change the Flags from 'A2001181' to 'A2001101'
  5. Repeat for each Polygon
  6. Save the model.nud file
