- 2.1.0 | Fixed a lot of small texture and geometry errors. Removed the small bridge from the Ricochet version. Unless something's wrong and the map can't be played, this is its last update. Stone - A deathmatch map for Half-Life by Ununoctium
Description This map has been remade in August 2017. Originally a small (and ugly) map I made to test some custom textures. I've updated this map to resemble its Ricochet version, and even taking it some steps further.

Just played it with my buddy and I LOVE this map, feels fluid and easy to fight in. I like the weapon placements, especially the gauss gun as that gun is op, so you put it in a more risky position, in which I kept killing my friend over and he as well (The gluon gun could be placed in another position but we didn't use too much of it). The only criticisms I have is how some of the open areas (especially one with the snarks) feel cramped and I feel like it should be widen up a little or free up some objects. Some suggestions would be to break the tiny bridge and the arches in the mid-map so movement and shooting and circulate easier. I felt like you were trying to create a 'simple' theme which is great but not every part of the map follows this (The waterfall sounds great but the outing design is weird). Also some walls confused me in that I thought I could land on the platforms or go inside a garden but it was blocked by invisible walls, which annoyed me.
EDIT: Also, could you make the boxes into marble/stone? I feel like it doesn't follow the theme and felt cheaply placed.
Overall, loved playing in it, felt smoother than the official maps. 9/10
Nice work !! I don't know how the original was looking, but this one looks great, I like the textures and ambiance.
It don't looks really realistic (it's not urban or something like this) but it reminds me some kind of Spyro maps (okay, Spyro is way more "colorful" and "childish", but still, I feel it's a bit similar).
