Unused Stages in Extra Stages V3
  • Fixed the crash in Classic Mode
  • Removed the white fadeout in the All-Star Resting Area
  • Added stage nameplates and game logos for all the stages, (Courtesy of Pib)
  • Fixed the Collision in the All-Star Resting Area and the Testing Room to allow fighters to die
  • Created new collision data for the four trophy display stages to make them more unique. (Before they used WiiFit Studio's collision)
  • Fixed the collision data for the Trophy Award and Trophy Hoard stages to better match the model
  • Added a wifi safe only pack in addition to the main pack. (Untested, but it should work)
If the Wifi Safe pack desyncs online for some reason, make sure you aren't using any other gameplay mods and let me know what stage it was.

  • Created and added basic cosmetics for all additional stages.

This mod adds most of the normally unplayable stages to the extra stages list. It absolutely does not unlock any of the paid DLC stages

It includes both a wifi safe only pack and a non-wifi safe version with edited collisions for the added stages to make them playable.

It adds, in no particular order:
The Multiman Smash stage
The All-Star Resting Area
The Online Practice Stage
The Customs and Equipment Testing Room
The Trophy Rush stage (With an alternate version with weird collision as its Omega in the non-wifi safe pack)
The 4 different Trophy Display stages 
The Trophy Award platform from the end of Classic/Allstar
The Trophy Hoard platform

  • The Homerun Contest and Target Blast stages aren't included because they crash the game when loading them.
  • Final Smash stages don't have a stage ID and can't be loaded.
  • The Multiman Smash stage has the floating platforms holding items regardless of your item settings. If you have your items set to on, then the stage has a chance of spawing hammerheads, Smart Bombs with invisible explosions, gigantic Bomb-ombs that can OHKO you when they go off, Ray Gun shots, lone Tanookie tails that fall through the stage, and something that immediately despawns.
  • Most of the added stages don't play music outside of sudden death. There is no fix at the moment, but I will update the pack when there is one.
  • This mod also makes every stage playable in 8-player smash. I'm not including a version that doesn't, because it would be pointless to do so.
  • Kicking the sandbag off of the Testing stage will cause it to fall endlessly and keep the camera focused on the area it fell off.
  • If you kill yourself in the All-Star resting area in between matches in All-Star, the game will Soft Lock. However, you can still pause and quit.

Some of the stages might not be the most fun to play on, but they can easily be replaced by other stages or omega stages.

All of the stages in the Wifi safe pack SHOULD be wifi safe since that pack only unhides the stages on the SSS.

    I see you said these would not be wifi safe, but in what way? Do they get added to the roster of stages for the game to choose when playing online?

    I got an idea for making angry birds (A.K.A. target blast ) and homerun contest playable . The second (or 3rd player ) must be bomb (for angry birds) or sandbag (for homerun contest) , but these are dummy slots (which crash when loaded) i'll try to add these with the "costumes as new CSS icons" and i'll tell you

    I doubt I'll be able to get an answer for this now, but I just want the MultiMan Smash stage to come up, and no others. Is there any way to do this? Even with the Wifi safe one, the trophy rush stage can be picked on For Glory, and even though it doesn't crash, it's not ideal.

    I have an idea for make the target blast, homerun contest and the credits roll playable on vs mode. Homerun contest and target blast have 3 ways to play : individually, cooperative and competitively: Target blast has also 3 levels, lastly, credits roll is accesible in multiplayer, Could you try these ideas separately, pls(cooperative homerun and target blast have 2 players inside, and there's a credits roll image per car├ícter btw)

    On the SSS, the thumbnails (not the larger preview) for the extra stages are just the regular stages' thumbnails reused in order...

    It crashes when I go into smash and move my p1 curser around. I have all the files in the right place and im an eu user.
    Having the exact same problem. I even followed the EU specific instructions. But it always crashes on the CSS.

    Has anyone been successful in adding custom stages over the Allstar Resting Area? The game keeps freezing no matter what I do. I have noticed that there are files for the stage both in Data, and Data(us_en). Does that have something to do with it?

    Edit: Ok so I managed to get it to work with a couple small exceptions. You DO have to replace the files within both "Data>stage>other>Allstar_f" AND "Data(us_en)>stage>other>Allstar_f". 

    You also have to put blank files into all of the "Allstar_f_append" folders or else you will get images of all the DLC fighters as parts of the walls and floors of the stage for some reason.... lmao. 

    There are two small problems I can't seem to fix though. The Allstar Rest Area blue doorway is gone, but the replaced stage still "thinks" that it is there. So when you step on the area where it WOULD be (about the center of the stage), then suddenly the character portraits, damage percents, and stock icons at the bottom of the screen all disappear for the rest of the match. The other problem is that a few custom parts bags and Mario trophies still spawn into the level upon startup. No idea how to fix that yet. Anyway, I hope that helps people in the future.

    IDK where to message you so i'll just comment on your post.

    if it's too much to ask. but do you know the ID for credits roll?

    Been throwing a lot of theories around but i don't know the ID to most of these stages to test them. (only know the ones for All Trophy Display stages, the Custom test room, online Training room, and both trophy hoard areas)

    would like those ids to continue doing some testing and stuff. but i don't know how to find them.

    (also just off topic, but can you play training room online? seem to disconnect with people when we play that stage. even modding it doesn't seem to fix it.)
