My favorite DR map is dr_pirate_adventure. Unfortunately pirate is very long, so when you die you wait for a long time. I wanted to create a map that was VERY hard but was not so long. There are many parts on this map that are very difficult and all of the traps have a way to survive or make the death activate. It is designed so that hopefully people will not have to wait for someone to sacrifice before they can pass the trap.

If you plan on putting this map on a server please tell me in comments. Include the server IP.

Also do not rate this map badly because it is too hard. It's hard.

There are 4 secrets to this map:

  1. A secret that makes you tiny.
  2. A secret entrance to the computer room at spawn.
  3. A entrance to the pool room at spawn.
  4. A very secret island.

    Well this map is really hard. It's currently Tier 6 difficulty on my server.
    Awesome! What is your server's ip? Btw you should probs download version beta 1 because alpha 2 has a lot of map breaking exploits.

    Tested the map, and I must say, it is one of my favorites! However there are some bugs and exploits in the map but I will list them below. I also do have a few suggestions.

    Ok so at Both BLU and RED spawn, there should be an AFK killer of some sort, as an AFK RED could delay the whole match.

    The "X's" on the walls should have an invisible wall or kill trigger there as you can jump to them to skip traps if you can strafe well.

    In trap #2, you can jump over the wall that pushes you into the water.

    In trap #5, the wall doesn't push you far enough to kill you as there is still a small ledge that players can stand on.

    In Trap #7, since the force that pulls you in is so strong, it actually pushes you into the wall with the "X's", giving the players a place to stand on when they should be dead. They are pushed onto the ledge where my stickies are at in the picture.

    After Trap #7, in the parkour area, I suggest putting invisible walls on the top of the two walls so winger scouts or other classes with jump boosts cannot jump on top.

    For the auto hopping square platforms, I suggest that the water there just takes away an amount of health instead of instant-killing. But since you said the map was supposed to be very hard then I don't mind if you leave it the way it is.

    For trap #11, I suggest putting invisible walls above it so classes cannot bypass the trap. Also when the trap is activated, it takes about 2 seconds until the doors appear.

    For trap #14, I suggest making the hole kill you even if it was not activated or was already activated since I guaranteed someone will fall in there and would have to sit there, possibly delaying the match.
