Remade version of bhop_focus. Gameplay were unstable so heres another one that isnt as compact.
• Smoother gameplay for speedrunning on both bhop categories • Better lightning such as HDR and fixed dark levels • Teleporters being straight forward • New look with better fitting concrete textures • No bad contrast on bhop pads • Cool particle system to make it more alive • Bonus longer and improved • Player clips above checkpoints should be fixed not to interrupt gameplay • Filesize increased from 101 mb to 62 mb
The old map were made for the sake of the wall idea, so i thought i could make a decent gameplay into it and it would be fine. This map fits better as a speedrun map but still kept to a difficulty standard with a few obstacles as levels increases.
Hello, really impressive design, this is kinda trippy/abstract and really well made. Pleasant to see some pretty maps out here :)
However, gameplay is really poor, bhops aren't very original and sadly the background is pretty disturbing and almost gives me headache when strafing, even if it looks nice when youre static ;) (i guess this kind of design would be awesome for some kz)
Despite this, good job for making a nice looking map.

Gameplay is nothing special but I appreciate how you don't half ass your designs, I can't seem to find a seam in them anywhere, if that was me you would totally be able to find where I copy pasted the walls over and over again. I love how the lighting gradually changes in some stages. Use tools_black in the borders outside of your stages to avoid this:

Yes, I like the visuals a lot. Really interesting. I'm now having the same problem with this map that I had with both of your culture maps. You just can't have environments this complex with that environment having such low contrast with the blocks. On legit you're probably going slow enough that it's not a problem, but if the reason it's impossibly hard on auto is because the map becomes one giant blur when you go a little fast, it's just not designed properly in my opinion. This happens most notably on stage 3 and 4. Especially 4 though. Almost impossible for me to do it.
Aesthetically, the map is a 10/10, but the gameplay is very lackluster. There is hardly any route variation, and the blocks are pretty 2d, with no height variation. It almost feels like a prefab for the walls imo. Still fun to look at as you play, but it would have been cooler with better gameplay.
