Looks great, but still in pre-final version, I think.
The main reason why I think so is because of the lack of detail in some places.
- You've put the main detail (chimneys, antennas, lamps and other) It defines the map where it is (industrial, residental, abandoned).
But there's another type,**Valve Developer Community **defines it 'cosmetic' detail:
That's the garbage in the streets, trash, little things like posters, supports, cables and other stuff. Really, someone can even don't notice it but if it's not included it isn't the same.
- In the 8th screenshot is seen much empty space. There are the things to put to improve:
some trash overlays on the ground, posters on the wall, broken brick decal somewhere the wall. A broken palette leaning to the wall, rotated ~75°. Some prop_physics (checked debris flag) garbage such as metal cans and cartoon stuff around there. And maybe some cables from above the roofs.
Suggestions about the design
- You can randomize the buildings' and walls' heights for more realism.
In the hangar the roof looks too flat. And they are usually supported with trusses.
Well I hope you update your map because it's really good and I think when it's finished it will be worthy to be on the frontpage.
