A Map for Counter-Strike 1.6

“ A fantastic looking map that made great use of the theme to place aliens at the center of the Earth. Unfortunately an issue with a massive player clip where the bomb sites which should have been caught in testing meant we couldn't place it higher in the winners. We felt the mappers showed good skill and potential with the map and even with such a minor mistake causing a massive issue, they deserve their second place. ”

    Another thing you can try Minnow123 is to _Verify integrity of game cache_ under properties/settings for CS. I recommend this because noone else has complained of this error. I will take a second look at the paths of those sprites, but I think they are probably ok--else we'd all be getting the same error. Thanks for your comments and support! :P

Thank you kindly for doing all of this for me, but alas, same thing. I've re-installed the version with the CLIP brush removed, and that's good enough for me! The map is still _very_ rockin'!

    Ok. After refreshing my memory consulting tommy14's errorlist, he says this error can be caused by having too many wads, and since the textures are wadincluded, maybe having de_subsanctum.wad in you CSTRIKE folder is causing the conflict. SO, try renaming de_subsanctum.wad to 'de_subsanctum.xxx', and then try loading the map(maybe it will work) :P I will try a new compile right now without -nowadtextures for you to test out. It should be done in 20-30 minutes. And yes, it is indeed a default sprite. Odd that it never occurred in any earlier versions of this map...

    Huh This is odd, never had this occur in the beta version of the map either! And I downloaded a 'latest and greatest' version of rainsplash.spr in case that was the issue... no luck.

    No lag here on the new version, huh. One question, why is the main water pool so shallow? It seems like there's a giant CLIP brush 2/7ths of the way down.
