Survivor Rescue V1.1
  • Rearranged vehicles to help solve Survivor's nav issue.
  • Increased the strength of the barrier to allow more time to thin the ranks of the undead.
  • Removed an old trigger that would play the Survivor's audio that is now played after barricade is destroyed.
  • Removed the player death end_game trigger so if another player joins, it will no longer count as a loss and close server.

Single-Player NPC-Survivor Rescue map

This is a Single-Player NPC Survivor Rescue map. You will be required to traverse over an obstacle, fight through horde, make your way to the survivor, defend and guide him through the map, and construct an exit. Random weapon spawns will ensure different approaches to your primary objective as well as add a bit of depth to each playthrough. You will be given a random rifle/military/shotgun, a random pistol, and a random melee weapon.

    **Notes:**

    - are you having another person join you? that is a known issue as I stated. when another person joins it triggers the end game because the spawn is killed after the initial player joins and the second to join is counted as ending touch on the trigger.

Future Versions are intended to contain multiple Survivor NPC's, Multiplayer capability *(Currently Developing), and a larger map or multiple maps, and/or versions.

There are three known issues/bugs:

1. Be careful when placing the crates as if you are inside the placement you WILL get stuck. Easily avoided once you see how they are placed.

2. The NPC will rarely get stuck while taking the right side route. To avoid this simply stick with him and if he gets stuck, just backtrack.

*Sticking with the NPC is key.

3. This IS a single-player map, however, I am currently working toward transitioning it into a multiplayer map. That being said, if you play this map please make sure that no one else will join as this will break the logic and declare an instant loss. I am currently looking at another way to approach this, however this will be of no concern after the multiplayer patch.
