Author's Notes ---------------------- This project was all about how fast, I could make desent looking and playing level, without spending time on making alot of custom content. In fact, it was my goal, only to use two base textures and build it all on them, using vanilla content. I think, it worked out pretty well, but that will be for others to decide. Level Comments ------------------------- This level contains alot of BSP (almost 1700 brushes!!), as I didn't wanted to waste time building in 3ds Max. It's quite colorful and kind of wacky. Pretty tight some places, but it actually works well, even with high playerloads. The bots navigate it quite well too, even though they don't seem to use the lift behind the bombgoals. Other than that, no major problems. The music...well...I decided to lose all common sense and give Winifred Atwell a chance. J-Rts signing out.     Thanks for the nice comments. I'm glad you like it.
    I can't believe, I've never noticed the weaponbase bug before. I guess no-one else did either, as you are the first to tell me about it. And I've been using them in almost every map, I have ever made. But I will certainly look out for it in the future. Thanks for the advice.
    About the meshes: Yes, I can see, what you mean, but didn't really pay attention to it, as I was running late for my set timeschedule to complete the map. I will correct that in the next version of the map.
    What goes for the music, well, I thought the map was kind of crazy and figured the music should follow that pattern too. Love it or hate it, but I don't think, I'm gonna change that.
    AS you didn't comment the gameplay, I assume it's ok. I've only tested it with the bots, as I don't play online. But if you have any other suggestions, I'm all ears.

    This is a fun little map, and it looks great. I love the clean, geometric look. A few minor things:

    * It has the weapon base bug. Unreal Ed applies the texture for the UT2003 weapon base onto the UT2004 weapon base by default, and looks bad. To fix, select all weapon bases, then clear skin textures.
    * The archway (StaticMesh'X_lp_scene3_m.basics.lp_Mech_S03_techpanel3B') has some ugly textures that detract from the overall look of the map. Try selecting each of the 12 instances of the mesh, (will need to be done individually,) click "add" on "skins" in the display properties 4 times, then select all and apply a skin texture in the 3rd and 4th slots. I suggest Shader'myLevel.Shaders.met_base01_S'.
    * The brace (StaticMesh'X_lp_scene3_m.arch-work.lp_Mech_S03_brace5') used in ball spawn area has the same ugly textures. It will also look nicer with a replacement texture, this time in the 1st and 2nd slots.
    * The Flight of the Bumblebee song, while a great piece on its own, doesn't really fit the map in my opinion. It becomes very grating after a few loops.
