- A Map for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Extremists are attacking a sewage treatment plant. Whose side are you on?
A poor sewer company is storing illegal toxins at the treatment plant. If these toxins would get into the sewer network, a lot of people could die. Being aware of this, a group of extremist movement members have come up with a plan to take out the treatment facility. If successful, this attack would most certainly bankrupt the company and thus effectively eliminate the threat.Attackers can either plant a bomb near the main generator of the facility. If destroyed, the facility would lose all of it's power. Or, they can plant a bomb near the main pipe line.
Taking out the main pipe line would destroy a lot of the sewer network.
The FBI have found out about this attack plan, and have sent a team to apprehend the extremists before it's too late.
This is the final version of this map!
Thank you all for your comments. I have decided to do a final polished version of this map, after so many years. I have other designs in the works, but de_sewage is a map that a lot of people like, and I've received so many positive comments and suggestions over the years, that I want to make a final polish swipe, and make the map complete.
I really like these type's of atmospheres, sewers or indoor underground facilities and I really liked this map.
The detailing is very well done, but I have to point out some flaws that I've noticed:
-T's can get to B as soon as CT's in some cases, which doesn't leave the CT's enough time to get in position. The door approach you did would have been easily redundant if you simply stretched back the spawn and removed the really close spawns.
-It's never playtested for competitive play, a good reason why you didn't score so well on the competition (but what do regular blokes who just rate based on what they think looks cool know right?)
I would LOVE to play this competitively with my friends, but at the moment it's more CT favored and there are a LOT of places that need clips, to prevent people from abusing spots. Just look at site B, it has so much vertical camping spots with dark corners or just plain evil spots to camp in.
Final release coming out later today. All reported issues have been fixed. A radar is also included.
Or, you can go and check the map on the workshop. I have already uploaded the updated release there. Please rate.

Hey, I see you have put a lot of effort into your map, and it looks great. But when I played it, there were a few spots where you could get stuck and coudn't get out even with noclip on, one huge example is the bombspot with the generator and the two pipes at the back of it, if you jump in between you get stuck and that is annoying! Also, there are maybe too many details in the map, it is pretty cramped overall and a few details are just misplaced, like the wineboxes and the big inferno crates.

wineboxes at the left side and infernocrates which appear to have grown out of the floor to get behind the ledge there: http://www10.pic-upload.de/10.04.13/pj5q7f6wthbo.jpg
You should pack the particles manifest in the map as well. Instead of packing it as particle_manifest, rename it to the exact same name as your map with the '_particles' after it (de_sewage_b2_particles) and then remove every line in that new particles file but the 2 last ones (which I'm assuming you're using).
This will make player much more happier and less confusing on the download, and this will also be less of a burden for servers, because packing with all the exising lines which we players already have in our original particles manifest can cause errors in the map in relation to your particles (such as red X's flying around instead of the correct materials of your particles).
And of course pack the pcf in the particles directory.
This is the way it's done for ZE maps and we spent a long time searching how to pack it perfectly, so there is no error there :)
Good luck in the contest, looks really nice!
