A large forest map with a lake & trails.

After a long time of it being developed, forgotten, and edited, I finally decided to make a few changes and make it available to the public for feedback. As for now it's just for construction, although I doubt this would make a good multiplayer map. **Requires HL2 Episode 2.** _Also, to explain the 6th screenshot, the gnome is a little "secret" you can find in the map. You may also find a crashed rocket! There is no reward in finding them besides the joy of finding hidden objects. Also, the gnome "talks"!_

Cool, hope you enjoy it. But, just keep in mind it does have a few flaws.

Most players will go on thinking nothing is wrong, but that is what you want. The players should think that they are there, not playing a game. You want immersion, feeling, and control. As being the mapping you're able to put these emotions into the players head by using light, fog, sounds and other visuals.

I'm also using lighting settings to put emotions into the players head (The context of the photo is that you're in aperture science, and you just got out side for the first time). The formentioned picture

It took me way more than 3 hours (in fact I've been on and off it for around 1-2 years or something like that) to make sure each tree was not completely above or below the displacement. I completely understand how long maps take, but for how long I've been working on this and for the "payoff" I get for it, it just isn't worth it at this moment. I do hope to continue this, making it prettier and overall better quality.

Well, trees grow upward right? Although some trees are crooked for one reason or another, but that would've taken forever to reposition them. Maybe in the future I can tip some over a bit and make a few actually fallen.
