Remake of cs_siege with some extra stuff in it. I'm going to be adding some extra areas to this. The layout is pretty much the same except that you've got an access tunnel that leads to a power station that you can blow up and cut power to the entire level. This will disable all the lights inside the buildings. You can also toggle the lights for the garage, the warehouse, and the sewers in this version. The switches are located at the warehouse enterance to the sewer, and also at the garage enterance to the sewer. The map geometry is constructed for the most part. I am currently optimizing the map, and making the lighting look good. I'm also adding things to spice up the rooms.
Textures are bland, flat and ugly. Probably by design but it makes the map lack atmosphere.
The map has several errors: At CT start, running towards the ravine WILL GET YOU KILLED. The path down is far too narrow and unnaturally geometric. The rocks to the right of CT start are floating above the ground. The tower is missing. The road leading from CT start to the base is too narrow for any of the vehicles already inside the base. Inside the base, rooms with tables have no chairs. Computer cables connect directly into cement walls, without using sockets or terminals. Leaving the loading area inside the base and moving towards the sewers, you will run down stairs with too low a ceiling. There's a blocking volume error there.
Additionally, the map has many other annoyances: All the doors are of the 'use me and I push you back' variety that fuck up the bots. Also... THERE WAS NO NAV FILE WITH THIS MAP. There's no alternate route to the roof of the building on the left of the base (as you approach) and there's no vent access to the hostages inside the loading area, which has almost no cover
Lastly; It's completely arrogant to name your map CS_Siege v2. Especially when you can't do it remotely well.
