A Map for Counter-Strike: Source

I am proud to FINALLY release surf_freedom, my second ever map release :D This has undergone about 777777777 billion compiles, and I'm happy to say that this is the final product of god-knows how many hours of work! Map is 5 staged, with a medium difficulty. This is the normal version of the map, intended to be played on regular servers, NOT TIMER SERVERS! **I WILL BE RELEASING AN _njv VERSION OF THE MAP SOON!** However if you think you can make it work yourself, go ahead. I've added one nifty little secret in, try and find it ;) Hope you enjoy the map! I sure as hell have enjoyed making and testing the map! Massive credits to everybody that's tested the map, given me feedback and everyone in general I play with :D If you're interested at all, I would love to make a surf_ map collab with some other people, so add me on steam: **lordofboobs** Enjoy the map :D

    Yeah, I wont bother with the _njv, already seen it on KSF working so, ah well :P God damn my lack of inspiration, half my maps stop production 2 stages in. Before my HDD crashed I had 7 unfinished maps D: By the way panzer, I forgot to fix the circles on stage 3 with arches D: Everything else curved I used arches, cant believe I forgot to fix the cylinder on 3, fuck that's annoying :/ And I do my best to NEVER put bhops in my maps :D And I tried to avoid chopped ramps aha

Those big circle ramps on 4 must be a killer on the brush sides too. Another problem that I just found was that you used carve to make the holes. You should use arches since they're much better looking and easier to make (http://forums.solidsurf.info/index.php/topic,2157.msg26459.html#msg26459). Anyway good luck with your new map. :) I like how you didn't use any chopped ramps or bhops, please keep it that way.

    Really good map until stage 5. 5 is complete shit - the first ramp is really glitchy and it stops me half the time, the hole is really annoying and awkward since you can't really see it from below and it's all jagged, the low ceiling on the glass part is stupid since the ramp blockers make it really hard to aim onto the ramp before it, the fade in ramps are a little annoying but not too bad, it's annoying as fuck to keep reusing the boosts on the invisible/light ramps to get more speed because it's hard to see where you're landing on them, the changes in gravity/speed are weird and caused me to fail the last part since there was no indication that my gravity changed, and the spinning thing at the end is horrible if you have high ping, but at least you can go around it. I don't really have any complaints about the other stages other than the fact that you can easily get out of the stage on 4, just next time you make a map don't do anything like stage 5. **Edit:** Why is everything func_detail? That just makes it so the entire stage is rendered - http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l301/DiabolicRemedy/learnhowtosavefps.jpg (usually I'm always at 300 fps). Also the giant skyboxes around each stage probably make vrad take ages longer.

    Wow, For a second map, This is great! Actually this looks nothing like a second map! Theme is aesthetically appeasing, plays smooth and over all; fun!
