Play as the attackers or defenders in this beautiful MGS3 recreation!

The terrorists start at the top entrance that leads to the Granin Design Bureau, and have to work their way down the warehouse stairs. The CTs start on the docks and need to work their way inside the warehouse. All battle points are within the warehouse: two entrances for the CTs, one defence-able position for the T's. I created this map in homage to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and it's gloriousness! Has a 3d skybox and is made to look as realistic as possible. Please rate if you enjoy, and check out metalgearsource.net for my current Metal Gear project! This is a beta, but only because it has not been live server tested. It features fully custom optimized visleafs, a few secrets, and a customized bot file for offline play! The teams are 10 versus 10. It has been pakrat-ed, so their should be no missing textures or models! Please advise if otherwise.

    Pros: This is a pretty wicked map. The team aspect is balanced, it looks identical to the real ponizovje from snake eater, and there are no glitches that I can find.
    Cons: It would be nice if it was expanded/ bigger, and more detail would make this a perfect ten!
    Improvements: See cons!

    hehe. i had overlooked that. so i reassessed and gave you a bit better rating. but seeing as how the real MGS game pulls off the ambience vibe detail and everything so well, i couldn't give you much of a higher rating than that when it comes to 'MGS-ness" (to be honest i really don't know what MGS-ness means, seeing as how it's a custom criteria out of your own head, maybe explain the criteria?) im sorry to come off as harsh, but i just want to give honest ratings! dont get me wrong though mate, i love the fact you're doing MGS maps. keep it up!!

    Well this looks just like the MGS3 map :D. The detail on the brushwork is a little blocky though, but that really doesn't matter that much. Good job, I hope to see some more MGS maps from you!

    Concerning detail and world interactivity, however, you are most correct, the problem is adding detail without it seeming redundant or in the way. I will try and create more detailed items for the final release. Thank you for the excellent feedback.

    Pros: it's ponizovje from MGS3 snake eater. awesome concept. in terms of construction, its pretty much identical to the MGS4 level. but thats where the similarities end.
    Cons: low level of detail and ambience, the water is a bit bland. some of the doors are just huge and out of proportion.
    Improvements: Detail, proportions of rooms and objects compared to player (i'd use the MGS game as reference) also i think i don't think anyone would flip out if you added some more detail and such to this to make it just have a better vibe. right now it just feels bare and boring.. add some functionality to things as well, be able to open that door on the second floor where you can usually hide in MGS3.
    Notes: i LOVE the idea of bringing MGS maps into Source man, I really do. I love MGS. Keep workin' on this, it has A TON of potential, i just think it needs to be refined a bit. i know you can pull it off!
