    It wouldn't take long to fix your spelling mistakes either* but, guess you're just too pro for that. This map looks somewhat better then gms_mainland. I may try it out later. Good job

    The displacements are better than any of you could do in hammer because HE IS BETTER THAN YOU. Instead of using one single displacement for the entire map he has probably used several 256x256 displacements that are sewn.

    To anwser everyoens question, no i didnt use an extra program to make the hills. i just used the displacement tool in hammer. When you have one giant brush and displace it, i makes the points sharp and funny looking. but if you make multiple small blocks and group them, then displace them, it becomes smoother.

    A |G4P| friend of mine Tophat Man, made a program that randomly makes flawless displacements in a map of a given size, and it looked pretty much the same as this, except without the water and variety of static props.

    I concur. There was definitely some other program that made these displacements. It looks nice-better than any displacement I make in hammer. Good job.

    One thing that does look a bit wierd is the direction of the light compared to the skybox. In the one sreenshot we are facing the source of light and the shadow is going the opposite direction. It may be wise to do a 180 degree turn around for the lighting.
