A Map for Team Fortress 2

Pl_emergency, a double payload map for TF2

This isn't like most payload maps where most gameplay occurs down a central corridor area. This map is more open plan, allowing more freedom of movement. There are maps in each of the resupply rooms that show the layout, (on the map, the letters show the resupply rooms, the arrows show the capture points, the first aid cross shows thew final destination). The blue and red coloured buildings down the centre of the map indicate which team's resupply area you are closest too. Author: Megadude Map name: pl_emergency Current version: Final v1.0 ********** Installation: Place the extracted files into your team fortress 2\tf folder. ********** This hospital used to take care of all casualties, no matter if they were from Team RED or Team BLU. However, with the fighting coming closer, the hospital was quickly abadoned, leaving a lot of the hospital supplies behind, (including a few crates of medical waste - yuck). The fighting has been especially fierce, and one of your comrades has been seriously hurt and must be evacuated. However, your opposition is in the same situation, and there is only time to evacuate one casualty. Who will get to safety and recover to have a long and healthy life, (at least until the next time they get shot)? Objective: Both teams must push their fallen comrade to the roof of the hospital, while stopping their opponents from doing the same. First team to push their stretcher through the entire course wins the round, and saves their teammates life. ********** Known errors: *Detail sprites on displacements in the 3D skybox are huge. *Stretcher flips 90 degrees just after reaching the final point, (WTF?!?!). ********** Credits: Megadude - map creation / texturer / modeler Mic_ - custom stretcher model / wheelchair model III_Demon - custom track models J.4.C.K.8 - emergency exit door Cordelle - hospital bed model ...oxy... - ambulance model ********** If this map is redistributed, this readme must be included.     Cool. I didn't know that. Thanks for the heads up. We have this map in rotation on our server and it's a blast. Great work.

    This is NOT a plr map. The setup of a plr map has just a single point per team per map. This has several points per team. This style of map, (just simply called double payload), was created last year, well before Valve created their plr style.

    This is NOT a plr map. The setup of a plr map has just a single point per team per map. This has several points per team. This style of map, (just simply called double payload), was created last year, well before Valve created their plr style.

    The people over at tf2maps.net are having a mapping contest right now for plr maps. You might wanna check them out. If ya dont wanna enter the contest im sure people over there would at least be interested in checking pl_emergency out. IF you want you can create a thread in their maps section.
