It's not "positive onwy pwease", it's more, "I'm fucking sick of children spamming 1/10 because they have a problem with the submitter or for insanely unreasonable reasons."
A dislike button, or a negative option of any kind, would just lead to spam and abuse for reasons entirely unrelated to the submission. The way it is now, the good submissions get good attention, the bad submissions get no attention. Period. Done. No spam, no abuse.
If you don't like it, just ignore it. Simple as that. A lot less toxicity overall. The problem is people in general. While there's nothing inherently bad about a dislike button, people tend to abuse such things so they can't be trusted with it.
Also, people are so bad with words nowadays, you included. You wantonly throw around words like 'f*cking dumb' without realizing how people would feel or even how credible you would sound. Why not just say, 'I think it would make more sense if there was a dislike button' instead of like an angry 12 year old trying to sound important...
That isn't the case. It was taken down to stop abuse and falsely down-rated mods.
Plus it's very simple to avoid having to type up an entire essay just to dislike something: Don't like the damn submission and move on with your day instead of ruining that day for someone else. Maybe leave some "constructive feedback" within their PMs, or on the submission. No need to say "I dislike this and that blah blah blah blah."
