I made Left4Dead background for CSS.
Its originally made by Valve!
I captured it with fraps (360 frames)
And culled it to 100 frames
This is large file. It's 11Mb.
If you want the startup song, then you must own Left4Dead or get the song from friend, because i think i am not allowed to upload the song.
To install the song, get it from friend or browse to: (Optional: Install Demo)
steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\sound\UI and find gamestartup1.mp3
Copy and paste it into CSS folder:

EDIT: It might not work for all.. Investigating proplem..
Files Works for me! Tested with all resolutions my graphic card supports (GeForce 8500GT 512mt)
UPDATE: For those that this did not work, it might be because there weren't widescreen files for this before.
Install to: counter-strike source\cstrike\materials->

This is content from one game to another you cant do that.. not to mention that it doesn't even work for everyone..
FIRST this is nothing but a slap job.. if making a css GUI then take the fuckin l4d logo off the pic...in NO WAY does this deserve a 10..but I guess it's good to have friends on here.. a 10 is something that is flawless and has taken some time and consideration in completing..
SECOND.. whats the point of this really... I mean I might understand if someone played zmod all the time..
do a v2 and leave the l4d logo out, make sure it works for all resolutions and is error free.. then it could be a 10
I will make v2 after 20. day of christmash.
Also, this took lots of work from me.
1. Record the fucking background (4 tries)
2.Then is time to hassle with frames..
I tried to make the background with:
360 frames - Fail VTFEditor crashed
355 frames - Fail CSS crash
300 frames - Fail CSS crash
250 frames - Fail CSS crash
200 frames - Fail CSS crash
150 frames - Fail CSS crash
100 frames - Succees
And do you know how much does this take time?
You do 100 frame texture with VTFEditor and take time how much does it take time.. :P
Also, Xero confirmed this is not ported.
I'll see what i can do next time, I will also update this with 50 frame texture alternative as a test.
But as you know, less frames = more laggines = Bad looking. I might also try doing it with smaller resolution and lots lots of tests.
