New Mod:
Dash Dancing+

For:
All Playable Characters + Some NPCs

Description/Purpose:
-Quickly & more easily turn around during dash animation
-Faster Foxtrots

Files/Params used:
-common.prc

1. dash_speed_keep_frame
2. dash_escape_frame
3. turn_dash_frame
4. retry_turn_dash_frame
5. dash_enable_attack_frame
6. turn_run_back_cancel_enable_frame


Creator Notes:
-IMPORTANT
Originally I had planned to add an additional feature to allow quick turnarounds during the run animation alongside the already implemented dash mod. However, the process to get this done is just too tedious for me to consider worthwhile. Unless shortcuts for it are discovered, I probably wont be completing it any time soon, if ever. To add to the woes, I found out that the Min Min update broke the little progress I had made previously, and there's a good chance future character updates will again break any progress I make. For me, this is just not something I want to spend my time on/dealing with. However, if someone else is willing to take on this task, then here's what you need to do:

1. Extract the motion_list.bin file from fighter/CHARACTER/motion/body/c00/motion_list.bin
2. Convert the motion_list.bin using Arthur's Tool
3. CTRL+F to find "runbraker" as well as "runbrakel" (some characters might only have one or the other, like Inkling - last time I checked)
4. You're going to want to change the cancel frame to 1 for both of those
5. Convert the file you edited back using Arthur's tool and voila
6. Now do that for all 80+ characters. And be prepared to do it all over again if a new character update breaks motion_list.bins again, like Min Min has

Yeah. Process sucks lol. Goodluck tho if you decide to tackle this, hmu & I'll delete this post so you can make your own if you want all the credit. OR just add it here & I'll give credit for your part. Whatever you decide, soldier.

    I've converted the motion_list.bin to YAML, but I don't have the labels. What software do I use, and how do I change the offsets to labels (the runbraker)

    EDIT: nvm.

    Airdashing breaks dash dancing in HDR. If you install this mod, it brings it back, but causes Falco's shine animation to be reverted to the vanilla throwing one. If you don't jump cancel it fast enough, he'll move in slow motion as it returns to him. Any way for that to be looked into? A previous version of Airdashing doesn't break dash dancing in HDR, the one for 5.0.0, but that one causes wavedashes to be double length.
