So, it turns out that it's pretty easy to edit the file listing out selectable Deathmatch player models, so I thought I'd make it so you can select three player models that already exist in the game, but are currently unselectable: the Assassin, the Zombie Marine, and the Zombie Scientist (HEV).
I've tested these in a self-hosted listen server and they work just fine in-game. They have all the right animations, support for the Long Jump Module on their backs, and the two zombies have their correct gibs. The Assassin doesn't have dedicated gibs, though, so it'll look weird when she gets blown up.
Thing is, I have no idea if these will work when joining a server that doesn't have its player model registry script modified like this. These models are included by default in every version of the game running public-beta, so theoretically everyone could see them, but I dunno how sv_pure and sv_consistency work in this game, so you might run into problems if you join another server.
I have a fair feeling that these will be officially implemented later on, and this add-on will thus become obsolete. For now, though, here it is.
