Reduces visual fidelity for a speed boost.
A selection of .reg files to change the supersampling resolution (the quality) use in-game.
The game doesn't allow you to go below 1000 while the game is running, but you can change these via the registry manually, with the hard limit being 500. Fair warning, this WILL make your game very, VERY blurry on the 500, 600 and possibly 700 (depending on your resolution) setting.
Tests have indicated that lowering this does yeild a greater performace, at the cost of detail, and possibly annoyance while sniping. That being said, I'd recommend using the 700 reg files and up, as those increase quality while giving a decent fps boost on most PC's.
To reset to default values (1000), either use the 1000.reg file, or go into the Hitman launcher and change the setting of supersampling to 1000.
Not for Linux or Mac OS X, as that has a much simpler XML file placed in the Feral Interactive folder.
