This is a talking Portal Stories: Mel turret. So far it can respond when picked up, spotting the player, undeploying its guns and (I think) getting covered in goo.
I've been stuck on getting a few other responses working. Specifically when caught on fire and when launched from an Aerial Faith Plate. I can detect when the turret has taken fire damage (whenever it catches fire, propulsion gel will drip from the ceiling near the laser). But the response sounds will not play, and I am not sure why.
I made this a few months ago and gave up on the turret's response to fire. But if anyone out there wants to see how it works or think they can get it to respond to fire properly, then send me the vmf, I'm interested.
I want to point out, the actor entity in the turret is pointless, I was trying a different method of playing the sounds. So you can remove it if you want to.
Make sure you do run the map from PSM and not Portal 2. The Vscript needs the psm turret model.
