Bot's Navigation Mesh for the map CS_MUUTTO_V2

Counter-Strike: Source : Bot's Navigation Mesh for the map CS_MUUTTO_V2

Nav Creator: Meurglis3, Release Date: February 5 2014

Here is the Navigation Mesh for twisted and fast-paced office-themed map cs_muutto_v2 by Hakk1tus (released June 2010). It's a completely created from scratch and fully hand-tuned .nav-file (because in original mapauthor's release was included simple auto-gen).

This Navigation Mesh was hand-maded at 70% because in auto-gen nav some areas were made incorrectly and many paths were blocked (in particular ventilating passes were absolutely impassable).

Yeah, bots use all possible ways now. They slip through the map not worse than the office rats! :D

Also this Navigation Mesh is fully Place Painted.

NOTE: For possibility of comparison and in-game testing the original navigation file by map creator available to downloading with the same map.

Play and Enjoy! Also don't lazy to leave your responses ;-)

Credits and Gratitudes: Hakk1tus (for this dashingly twisted and variously designed office-themed map, also for his other nice maps).

Additional Gratitudes: BarnDoor (for perfect playable navigation meshes for many fine CS:S maps), Chizbone (for informative and clever article BOT_BRAINED and a set of excellent navigation meshes), CoCoNUT (for fine hand-tuned navigation meshes for many fine CS:S maps), Valve Developer Community (for learning articles by Navigation Meshes and Navigation Mesh Commands).

P.S. Thanks O.T.I.S. for NAV-testing and detailed comparative report!

Welcome to Bloodbath in Paradise! :-)

WOW! Just, WOW! Somehow this map was overlooked by me, but thanks to Meurglis3's seemingly encyclopedic knowledge concerning great traditional-style maps, I'm in hostage rescue heaven!

HUGE kudos first and foremost to the map maker, Hakk1tus. I'm kicking myself in the head for having overlooked this gleaming jewel of a map.

The map has an incredible honeycombed layout, and now that Meurglis3 has hand-tuned the nav mesh, bots are moving freely everywhere. From the ventilation system (the best designed and rendered I've seen in a CS:S map yet), to the offices, down to the parking garage. Enemies lurk around every corner it seems!

Playing as a terrorist against the CT bots is INSANELY fun. They seem to come from nowhere half the time. The other half, they're dropping out of the goddamn ceiling! I'm probably just not that familiar with the map's layout at this point, but man oh man is it unpredictable and fast-paced!

This is the best example of a map that I can think of where hand-tuning the navigation mesh can mean the difference between mediocre offline play and something so fun IT HURTS.

Meurglis3, don't you ever stop managing those migrating lemmings good sir!

100/10 I don't care if that doesn't make sense, I'm having too much fun! KNOW WHAT, 1,000,000,000/10 HOW ABOUT THAT SHIT!

    10/10
