A Mod for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (WiiU)
- replace low health SFX with heartbeat - new shrine detector SFX - mute pick up item SFX - new open/close map SFX - new map stamp SFX - mute cursor movement on map - new reset pin position SFX on map - new open/close inventory SFX - new inventory navigation SFX ...and more to come...
Commenting again - The opening map sound you had in the original was very ear-piercing. I look today and you've updated and changed it! I can't believe you're making edits to this sound pack but I really encourage it because the edits you make are so awesome. Thanks again for the mod :)
Edit: The one sound that remains that's "bad" in my opinion is the Sheika Sensor sound. It's just too high and piercing. It upsets my wife and my dogs XD
I've tried this mod out and I like it a lot. I do prefer the original inventory navigation sound, however. Is there some way that I can remove that particular sound from the mod's adjustments? Either way, thank you for building this!
Love this mod - lots of changes here that I always thought I'd like in an sfx mod. One of the best on gamebanana for botw for sure.
I agree with others, the one thing in this mod I don't particularly care for is the map opening sound. It's better than the jarring sound of the original, I think, but I think the sharpness could be toned down a bit.
But removing item pick up sound is GENIUS. I wish more UI sounds were quieter or silent as they do kind of immersion breaking, or something. Also removing map scrolling sound is another like that, it's so small a change but small changes like that make a difference.
Thanks again for the mod, looking forward to other changes you make :)
This is actually pretty sick! I was hoping that the pause menu sound would have the sound effect of opening a backpack. But the map sound kinda hurts with headphones on. But tbh, i would leave some of the sfx as they are. They're kinda iconic now or I'm just too used to them.
