  • BugFix Fixed an issue with Luigi's Cyclone rising into the upper blast zone on whiff
  • Adjustment Daisy's Up B is now a single hit move with a sweetspot at the beginning and the end of the move
  • Adjustment Removed the middle hit from Marth's Jab 2, gave the tipper priority
  • Addition Added a Shield mechanic to Giga Bowser
  • Adjustment Giga Bowser's Nair hitboxes adjusted
  • Adjustment Giga Bowser's Up Air now properly takes landing lag
  • Addition Added a Dair to Giga Bowser
  • Adjustment Giga Bowser's Down Smash has less range
  • Overhaul Changed Giga Bowser Side B to be a physical attack rather than a command grab
  • BugFix Fixed a bug causing Giga Bowser to restart his Side B animation after landing during the animation
  • Adjustment Giga Bowser's aerial Up B hitbox offset adjusted, and the move now uses an autolink angle

Notable changes:
- Giga Bowser's Shield:
  • Giga Bowser's shield does not allow him to use Up Smash OoS, but it does allow him to use both JC Up Smash OoS and Up Smash out of shield release
  • Giga Bowser cannot parry, and he does not have the feature that causes his shield release animation to be sped up when his shield is hit
  • Giga Bowser can turn around during his shielding animation
  • Giga Bowser does not take shieldlag or shieldstun
  • Giga Bowser's shield health lacks a visual, and LRA in training mode will not reset his shield health unless you do it during his shieldbreak animation
- Removal of ElevenZM's cosmetic mods:
  • Due to the way I had originally handled credit/permission from mod creators, ElevenZM asked that I remove his cosmetic mods. However, I was able to provide proof that he gave me permission to use his mural art renders, so those specifically I was allowed to keep.
  • Our team is going to recreate a few of the cosmetic mods created by ElevenZM. While I can't use his skins, I feel it is unfair for me not to be able to use content that was already in older Smash games (I.E. Black Yoshi) or content that was clearly not an idea that only he would have (I.E. Shiny Charizard), so we're going to be creating our own versions of those. 
  • That said, there were a few mods that were originally used which I feel would be obviously ripped off from ElevenZM if we were to recreate them (I.E. Bullfrog Ivysaur), so those mods will not be recreated.
  • The Dark Mode Training stage falls somewhere in between, as while it was obviously his idea, it is one that anyone could have had. I feel comfortable recreating this with slightly different colors since I have problems with his version anyway that I believe we could easily fix (such as the blast zone indicator being too dark to see most of the time).
- While a big part of this mod is attempting to fix multihit fallouts, there are obviously some areas where I won't do a good enough job. Please let me know if you manage to find any fallouts or other problems that are reasonably consistent and are detrimental.

After about 7 months of work, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Championship Edition has reached an open beta! For those who don't know, CE is a modpack that aims to rebalance and diversify the game's roster while adding more depth to its global mechanics. It is not a Melee mod, and it is not going to try to be. This does take mechanics from Melee such as Wavedashing and Edge Canceling, but the pace of the game is more of a healthy mix between the Melee style and the style of the games that came after it.     How about Terry always having GO meter, but a weaker version, with more combos/better combo tree? I think you already gave him a combo extender with crack shoot, you could change how some other moves behave so that BW isn't just a better version of BK etc. maybe.
    I hate comeback mechanics but these moves are so satisfying
