A balance patch that spices up competitive play in a clean cut way!
This is a balance patch for Melee, only buffing characters up to Dr. Mario in the tier list with a few exceptions. (I go off of Armada’s most recent tier list)
My Melee balance philosophy is that everyone wants to see a more varied competitive scene so hopefully this will be a solution for anyone wanting to host a
melee tournament in which all characters have a chance to succeed. I've also tested the compatibility a little bit, and I know that Dolphin and Nintendon't can infact run the iso. Any feedback would be very appreciated, this mod is still in development and will continue to be updated infrequently! You can import the character files manually loading your vanilla melee iso on Crazy hand
go to file then “Load Character” (Just make sure you save after each load, then swap to the next character and repeat the process) I also attached a text
document labeled "FSM" which stands for frame speed modifiers, to apply these, open Crazy Hand, go to the "Frame Speed Modifiers" tab on the top left
corner (It will say "attributes" originally) and import using that file.

To achieve balance in the form of equal opprotunity to win tournaments to some degree
Take out Samus and Ness annoying Jump sounds
Give Dr. Mario a wall jump and afterwards revert his F Smash knockback to normal
Fix Link's boomerang and give it 6% damage and consistent range.
