This mod, long sought after even during the Smash 4 era, is now reality in Smash Ultimate due to far greater accessibility and flexibility. It replaces Ness's standard circular magenta/pink psi normals with hexagonal red/yellow/blue psi normals. When attacking, red and yellow will be most present, while blue takes the backseat (like how it does in most of the animations) to emphasize the later parts of each move. There are instances where blue gets to shine though, like in dash attack startup, grab and pummel. Please be aware that, because of the strong colors, this mod may not be all too easy on the eyes.
Inspired by the animations for PK Rockin', this effect borrows components from each version of it. The slashes seen in the beginning of Rockin' a and b are create the center of the effect, the hexagonal shapes seen in Rockin' y make up the boundaries of the effect, and shared between all Rockin' is the explosion that was ripped straight from the game and heavily edited for use as the dwindling particle effects. You can see the animations in order here (YouTube), for reference.
The mod does not affect any of Ness's other moves, such as Thunder, Fire, Magnet, etc.
I hope you enjoy! -------------------------- This mod was given momentum by SiLLyDJ, so big thanks to them. Additionally, massive thanks to zrksyd for helping me get this thing looking the way it does after an excessive amount of trial and error, providing model assistance, footage and shots for the mod in testing. His Miiverse Game & Watch is shown in the throw shots for a well deserved plug.
I am ABSOLUTELY in love with this. This is been something i've wanted for a super long time, and i can't thank you enough for it. The only thing that is sorta an issue for me is the big lines/stars going through the Effects, which is a great touch but i just feel like it's a little too out there. Otherwise, this is an insta-download.
