Posted by The RoyalistI see. Can't help you on that one then. I don't think there ever was an ability to remove your own rating on a normal submission that used 1-to-10 ratings. I'm not saying that you're wrong, but that it's likely.Posted by Clener74Let's make this clear.
You're mentioning a "remove rating" button...the only section on which I know that button exists is the Ideas section. Are you sure you aren't confusing yourself and as a result you think that button existed for every section? I mean, I'll just roll along with it and assume you're drunk.
Earlier, we're allowed to remove our own ratings on someone's submissions. A "Remove Ratings" button can be seen(I forgot if it's in the submission's rating lists or on the main profile itself, this happened quite a long time). And now, we can't remove our own ratings unless it's unjustified and only submitter are able to remove our unjustified ratings.

Back then I just keep on trashing my own ratings from someone else.
Cross my heart, I don't have a single memory from my personal experience nor do I recall any update blog from Tom where he states anything about a member being able to remove their own rating.
I don't really understand what you're trying to say, though. Can't connect "I was able to trash my own ratings if I wanted" with "I just keep on trashing my own ratings from someone else".
I've edited my comment, you may need to read it again.

That shouldn't be too hard to answer:
You can't. Only persons able to remove a rating are the submitter - only in the case the rating is unjustified - and staff members with power over the specific section the rating has been made in, regardless of circumstances.

Whatcha mean? You are not able to remove your own ratings; if you try and set it to 0 (which would show as a "?" rating in the preview number), it'll give you an error and force you to rate at least one criterion out of 10.
If you got confused about Mini removing his own rating, that's because he's an admin and did it through these powers.
Still, all I wanted to know is: Can we remove our own ratings on somebody else's submissions?
