    those are some of the best textures ive seen so far. blur did an amazing job with it and im sure your going to win 1st if not 2nd

    also, what you see is almost plane diffuse with a lot of shaders on it, it's generated in real time, not as diffuse :) you need to see it in game because screens won't show whole beauty of blurs textures :)

    thanks for kind words :)

    I did checked ARES and, yea it looks very similar, someone could construct these home build gun along the lines of these fmg :)

    So, that was first and last wip update, thanks to it I found some peoples ready to help :) I have some more ideas how to tweak model but it will be our sweet secret for now ;>

    Looks more like the original ARES model. ;] Looks awesome, definitely has that homebuilt look; the parts look like hinges, plates, and other bits you could find at the hardware store and the visible welds are an excellent touch. Don't forget the heat discolouration around the welds on the texture to really finish this beast off!
