Draw: Cut to the chase? It's just plain robotic. The movement in general feels sluggish and heavy while being drawn, then suddenly switches to something as light as a feather when he 'slaps' the bolt forward. Not that it's being slapped, he just passes his hand through it. Make the gesture more apparent if you can.

Also one thing that gets me is the 'delayed' movement after he slaps it during the back-to-idle animation, I can tell you were trying to add some sort of gravity feel here, but it is entirely mistimed. Definitely needs some work there.

Shoot: Completely powerless, makes the shooter seem weak, doesn't correspond correctly to the hipfire accuracy of this weapon. Just way too much upward recoil, focus more on a quick, short jolt backwards with a slight upward movement. The faster it is, and the lighter the movement, the more illusion of power it will have. Watch videos of people shooting online, you won't see much upward recoil at all. Definitely not as much as you displayed here.

Reload: Nice, although if I remember correctly, the G3 doesn't allow for this kind of reload. The animation shows the general trending problems from before, bit robotic, movements mistimed and such. The magout is cool, but seems completely forceless. Here you actually do need to focus on the upward/downward motion on the weapon, to give the illusion of gravity. The mag movement is perfect, but he simply doesn't jolt the weapon enough to knock it out in my opinion. Magin seems a bit too perfect, it immediately clips into the perfect place. You could possibly add some additional movement on the mag here.

Bolt slap is nice, what completely ruins it is that there's too much movement applied to the weapon again. Stiff movements that have clearly been added to add the illusion of gravity, but never tweaked to do so.

Overall, it needs smoothing and some realism tweaking. But you have a cool concept here, just needs to be refined. 5/10 in the state it is right now.

This is the kind of feedback I was looking for, sir. You are a lifesaver.

I agree with Ganryu, It's kinda hard to judge the position of the gun because I play with it on the right side of my screen, but it looks a little to far to the left then normal kinda hard to explain. If you want me to elaborate more just ask. :)

Yes, the charging handle flips out and then you use that as a handle to lock the bolt back and then you can do the trademarked HK slap to slam the bolt forward.

Thank you Yams for clarifying. :D

Also, does anyone happen to know how the little bolt lever thingy at the end opens up and slides back?

I believe you pull back the bolt then lift it up in order to lock it, and when you wish to unlock it you pull it back forward, or slam it in some cases.

I think there's an extra part that levers out though. I'll figure it out haha.

I'd say to increase the speed that the weapon eases back into the idle position. The way it is now, it makes it seem like the rifle is being jerked back and then moved back into position slowly, as if the person had a sudden muscle twitch.
