This is a Counter-Strike: Source map. This will most likely be my last map release for source, I am trying to get ready for cs:go.

Basics:
I am about half way done and somewhere around 15 hours into this map so far. I have been taking time-lapse screenshots every 10 seconds, most of the time, leaving me with a couple thousand images so far. When the project is complete I will make a time-lapse video for fun. Like I said, I managed to capture most of my work, but not all of it on time-lapse.
I started with the idea to make a dust themed map that has many familiar core elements. For example, a mosque in the center of town, a surrounding temple complex, a junkyard outside town, a resistance safe-house, drab desert alleyways/ streets in a clustered city, a small market place/ town square.
Plan:
T Spawn (Oppressive Totalitarian Government) – Junkyard
CT Spawn (Revolutionaries) – Outside Mosque/ market area
Bombsite A – Inside Mosque, Revolution HQ, technical equipment and computer setup inside
Bombsite B – Revolution Safe-houses, Outside (and atop), city alley/street scene
Status:
So far I have mostly completed the junkyard, the mosque, and the surrounding temple complex.
I am going to continue finishing out the surroundings on the other side of the exterior of the mosque. I will add the market/ town square area here in front of the mosque.
After that I still have to make a fun layout for Bombsite B. The houses that will be used for the streets/ urban scene there are already completed, but still need to be textured.
Thank you for checking out my Work in Progress, I hope it will be 100% complete within two weeks.
Update 5/21/2012:
I have come up with a fun layout for bombsite B and attached the section to the rest of the map more or less. It needs to be surrounded with houses/walls to close off the area. All the houses still need to be textured as well.
I added 5 more screen shots, all dev shots from hammer showing some more layout progress; enjoy!
