General shape is there, but many improvements can be made.

First, the AK-74u (should really be named AKS-74u, the 's' denoting folding stock, the 'u' denoting the shortened nature of the rifle) is chambered in 5.45x39mm, and has a more straight magazine. Current magazine is reminiscent of the 7.62x39mm rounds (on account of the more aggressive curve).

Second, the area where the buttstock meets the receiver looks odd... it is as if the receiver itself has been lengthened to accept the buttstock.

The rest can be mainly put down to details, but significant ones. An ejection port is usually necessary these days as animators probably prefer being able to have the option of seeing the right side of the rifle (chamber inspection, for example). A magazine release lever would also be nice. A more detailed foregrip would not be amiss.
