Yeah, this is going to be a horror, im so bad at uv mapping but i have to try it once, but it will be so horrific you cant watch it!

    Keeping things to scale will help with the stitching.

    Basically, align one edge of a certain piece with another (so that the corresponding vertices line up) and then stitch those vertices together. Find it in the tools drop down menu (in the UV editor). Make sure the normals are right though. Had a painful time rectifying that sort of thing...

    The more things you weld together, the less seams you'll have once the texture goes on. Try welding the receiver pieces and the handguard too, especially along the top edge for the handguard.

    Looks good so far.
