I still don't get it :/ Do you know a good tutorial for floating geometry stuff? Well done model thought, it could use some more details.

I got no tutorial for it, but it's really easy. As long as your cage covers the floating geometry, then it'll show on the bake, but you have to be careful or it'll fuck up.

The best advice I can give you is to try, try and then try some more. :)

Nice. but those caps. They seem more pointy and spaced out. there should me many and they should by rounded and very close to each other.

I know, those will be replaced. It was just to get a better feeling of it all.

This looks like it's coming along very nicely. If I might suggest something for when it's finished though, would you consider having it in a .OBJ format when you release it? Some people (like myself for example) don't have the ability to import some of the other model formats for the programs we use.

If I release it, yeah sure.
I kinda have to figure out if I want to use it for another project of mine tho, instead of releasing it here.

That's perfectly fine. Just thought I'd ask for it to be in another format since most of the common formats these days are mainly meant for 3DS Max users now.
