SVT 40 - take number three

Double #3

Decided to keep going.

Don't complain about edges, cause:

1) it's just the beginning;

2) Render settings are sux D:

Edit #1 :

Redid some parts, fixed some error and proportions.

Edit #2 :

Started to make fore.

C&c are welcome.

Top and left references, wireframed... even gives measurements. -sigh- i wish i didnt always have to guess half the time. My references tends to be left views that arnt very hi rez with a bunch of pictures at obscure angles.

Good job though. I dont see anything wrong yet.

i also think you can edit you toplogy a bit, there still can see some hard place on your lower fore.

Yes, i know about that. I must fix it anyway.

until now i don't know how to cut hole on roundish surface ,usually i also make some place hard.

I've just create simple plain, cut holes on it(with proper topology), then added Bend modifier .

i did a little test about your method?very useful.i got pure roundish surface with holes.

i also think you can edit you toplogy a bit, there still can see some hard place on your lower fore.

do you create the blueprint in cad?or find it somewhere?i like it.

This is not blueprint and I'm not the creator of this. This picture is created by Walther38 in CorelDraw and i use this reference to get more accurate proportions.

And, of course , I look to the real photos. ;)
